Endurance team SOKO
Endurance racing is our passion since we have started with our sport club. Watching on national level we are the most sucessiful endurance team in croatia, but we ride also an international races.

Our sport team is full of young perspective riders from whole Istra who are guided by the main person in our club, Milan Jurkovic, the international endurance trainer(FEI level 1).
​
Our mision is to promote endurance like an amaizing sport, and to increase the interest for it between young people in Istra.
​
Endurance is an equestrian sport where phisical and mental strenght of rider and horse are tested to the limits. The races can be from 40 to 160 km long, depends on a level. This isn't just a sport, it is a conection between people and horses. It is team sport and crew is also important, so you and your horse aren't enough, team work is needed and it always takes part in final result.
TRAIL RIDING ROUTES
If you want to explore all natural landscapes of Istra peninsula and ride amaizing sport horses in the same time we are the right choise for you.

For example there are riding trips to the Lim Fjord area, historical city Dvigrad and place where the geographic center of Istra is. Our tour guides are professionl riders and internationl equestrian trainers.
​
Trips can be taken two times a day from 7 am to 11 am and from 6 pm to 9 pm(during summer), and can last from 1 to 4 hours.

ABOUT US
We are an independent equestrian organization which was entshablished in 2001 by family Jurković. They started building a family ranch having equestrian enthusiasam and one horse named Sokol (Eagel), after whom was the club named.
Today our organization consist of more than thirty riders, trainers and horse lovers, and all together twenty five sport horses.
Most of our horses are trained for endurance races, but we also use them for trail rides with our visitours, and riding school.
You can find us on two locations in Istra, village Selina (west coast) and Slokovici (central Istra, near Pazin).
